she styles... for keaton row!

Happy Sunday! I've got great and exciting news to share with you guys. In the beginning of the year, I launched my wardrobe/personal styling business, Anne Marie Style. In addition, I also launched a personal styling business with Keaton Row, the only personal styling company that lets you work one-on-one with a Stylist you trust (me!) 100% online (anywhere, anytime). Pretty cool, right?!

So, If you're looking into revamping your wardrobe and refreshing your look, i’ve found a couple of items i think would really take your style to the next level, and i’d love to share a complimentary lookbook with you to show you just how it works. Please feel free to contact me here or via email at style@annemariemaniego.com. Most importantly, don't forget to check out my stylist page here!

Happy Styling, Happy Sunday.

she drops fashion 411: 3.1 phillip lim

I decided to add in a new topic every week, 'she drops fashion 411': based off of fashion and style related facts, those super long emails some of you leave in my inbox with questions, and those little pondering thoughts synced with voguepedia my brain. *Special thanks to my cousin, Mayette from Looks Cute Though for the idea. (You should read her blog for all you beauty and fashion gurus, she's pretty cute though). Phillip Lim popped up when I brought my Pashli Satchel to a family party, and she asked where 3.1 originated. I came across this question with myself before, but it always slipped my mind whenever I would come close to googling it. So, I took some time to hit the books and not so long story short, here is my conclusion...

Boom. You learn something new everyday.

she recommends: color's block

Besides pairing Black with White, Black and Brown are another two of my favorite color combos year round. Both colors alone and together are so versatile. You can add a pop of Red, or in this case, Midnight as a contrast utilized as chiffon sides on O'2nd's jumpsuit and side pockets. It's chic minimalism and drape front lays beautifully on and off the hanger. Don't limit your spring wardrobe essentials with white and florals, go light-weight and fluid in crisp solids... easy, breezy... & haute.

she loves: brashy couture

Tell me, who can go wrong with the casual luxury of a screen tee? Not I, not Brashy. A few weeks ago, I did my annual spring cleaning starting with my closet and tossed a good amount of old graphic tees I used to obsess over back in my TRUE days and what did I do? I simply replaced them with clever ones such as Brashy Couture's Supermarket! Fun, yeah? I think so, and so did the crowd while grocery shopping at the supermarket over the weekend. Brashy offers quite the range of graphic tees for every fly girl in the world. Meows and Dream Bigs, I have a feeling I'll be piling up on stacks of some BS! Get it giiiirl.

she loves: leopard love

I rarely EVER gravitate towards flats. If you know me, I always have a 1" - 3 1/2" heel or else I feel so... flat. It just so happened I was browsing through the 'flats' category on Bloomingdales and Shopbop and  my  jaws dropped when I saw these two bad kitties. If I were to rock flats, it's gotta have personality... and these have personality with a little meow! It has the perfect amount of print with a splash of color and blocking. Kate and DVF, well done my darlings.

she recommends... grey gardens

"You can't have your cake and eat it too in life." - Little Edie

Grey Gardens, such a timeless yet unbelievable true story. A real breakthrough to something beautiful and precious thing called... life. If I were to live in Grey Gardens (I say that loosely), it'd be a little something like this...
